I don’t tell anyone when my actual birthday is but we’re going paintballing soon. I only want to do these things like paintballing to make Rhys do them - it’s funny to watch him do anything outside his comfort zone. It constantly amuses me.

Interviewer: You recently designed some badges for Record Store Day…
Faris: Yeah [laughs].
Interviewer: Why are you laughing?
Faris: I was asked: "Would you like to design this badge for this thing?" and I didn't really read the email properly because I'm not very good at concentrating on things some of the time. So I pulled a little piece out of my drawings, just scanned it in and wrote Music Matters on top of it. I didn't realise it was for Record Store Day, which is something I've always really loved, so I think I probably would have put more effort into the badge if I had known.
